대전문화재단이 운영하는 유교전통의례관 '대전별서'가 오는 12월 16일부터 한옥체험동 숙박시설을 본격 운영한다. 

이 시설은 문화체육관광부의 충청유교문화권 관광개발사업의 일환으로 조성되어, 유교문화의 가치를 재조명하고 지역 관광을 활성화하기 위해 마련되었다.

한옥체험동은 총 7개 동, 10개 실로 구성되어 있으며, 객실 유형은 2인실 3개 ,2~4인실 3개(장애인실 1개 포함) ,4~6인실 3개 ,8~10인실 1개로 다양하다. 

하루 최대 46명의 숙박객을 수용할 수 있는 이 공간은 전통 한옥의 매력을 느끼며 편안한 숙박을 제공할 예정이다.

백춘희 대전문화재단 대표이사는 “대전별서가 대전시 대표 한옥마을로서 전국적인 관광지로 자리매김할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”며, “시민들의 많은 관심과 이용을 부탁드린다”고 전했다.

한옥숙박 예약은 12월 9일 오전 9시부터 대전별서 홈페이지를 통해 가능하다.

한편, 대전별서는 2024년 5월 개관 이후 시민건강프로그램, 이사동 규방, 꼬마선비체험 등 다양한 전통문화 프로그램을 운영하고 있어, 지역 주민과 관광객들에게 풍성한 문화 체험의 기회를 제공할 예정이다.

Daejeon Cultural Foundation, Confucian Traditional Ceremony Center 'Daejeon Byeolseo' Full-scale Operation

Daejeon Cultural Foundation's Confucian Traditional Ceremony Center 'Daejeon Byeolseo' will begin full-scale operation of the Hanok Experience Center accommodation facility on December 16.

This facility was created as part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's Chungcheong Confucian Cultural Zone Tourism Development Project, and was established to shed new light on the value of Confucian culture and revitalize local tourism.

The Hanok Experience Center consists of a total of 7 buildings and 10 rooms, and the room types are diverse: 3 double rooms, 3 double- to 4-person rooms (including 1 room for the disabled), 3 double- to 6-person rooms, and 1 double- to 10-person room.

This space, which can accommodate up to 46 guests per day, is expected to provide comfortable accommodation while feeling the charm of a traditional Hanok.

Baek Chun-hee, CEO of Daejeon Cultural Foundation, said, “We will do our best so that Daejeon Byeolseo can establish itself as a national tourist destination as Daejeon’s representative hanok village,” and added, “We ask for the citizens’ interest and use.”

Hanok accommodation reservations can be made through the Daejeon Byeolseo website starting at 9 a.m. on December 9.

Meanwhile, Daejeon Byeolseo will operate various traditional culture programs such as the Citizen Health Program, Isadong Gyubang, and Little Scholar Experience after its opening in May 2024, providing local residents and tourists with opportunities for rich cultural experiences.
