세종시가 26일 네이버 데이터센터 각 세종에서 정보화 업무 담당자 40명이 참석한 가운데 정보화 연찬회를 열었다. 

이번 연찬회는 시가 중점적으로 추진하고 있는 디지털 신기술을 활용한 디지털 선도 도시 조성을 목표로 하며, 공무원의 디지털 행정 역량을 강화하고 상호 소통하기 위해 마련됐다.

연찬회에서 참석자들은 네이버 데이터센터 각 세종을 견학하고, 김성배 네이버 클라우드 이사의 신기술 특강을 들으며 최신 기술 동향을 파악하는 시간을 가졌다. 

또한, 정보시스템 장애 대응 전략을 모색하고 신기술 기반의 행정 혁신에 대한 브레인스토밍을 통해 서로의 의견을 교류하는 기회를 가졌다.

네이버 데이터센터 각 세종은 네이버 클라우드 서비스와 인공지능(AI) 기술 기반 인프라를 제공하는 네이버의 초대형 데이터센터로, 2023년 11월에 개소했다. 

세종시는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스 활용 모델 시범사업(국비 83억 원)을 통해 네이버와 함께 공공기관 최초로 프라이빗 클라우드 시스템을 구축하고, 클라우드 기반 행정 혁신을 가속화하고 있다.

세종시는 앞으로도 민관이 함께하는 정보화 연찬회를 정기적으로 열어 디지털 선도 도시 조성을 위한 아이디어를 발굴하고 공유하며, 정보화 업무 담당 공무원의 디지털 역량을 강화해 나갈 계획이라고 밝혔다.

Sejong City Holds Information Technology Seminar on 'Creating a Leading Digital City'

Sejong City held an information technology seminar on the 26th at each Sejong Naver Data Center with 40 information technology professionals in attendance.

This seminar aims to create a leading digital city utilizing new digital technologies that the city is focusing on, and was prepared to strengthen the digital administrative capabilities of public officials and promote mutual communication.

At the seminar, attendees toured each Sejong Naver Data Center and listened to a special lecture on new technologies by Naver Cloud Director Kim Seong-bae, and had time to understand the latest technology trends.

They also had the opportunity to discuss strategies for responding to information system failures and brainstorm on new technology-based administrative innovations to exchange opinions.

Each Sejong Naver Data Center is a large-scale data center of Naver that provides Naver Cloud services and artificial intelligence (AI) technology-based infrastructure, and opened in November 2023.

Sejong City is accelerating cloud-based administrative innovation by establishing a private cloud system for the first time among public institutions in cooperation with Naver through a pilot project for utilizing cloud computing services (national budget of 8.3 billion won).

Sejong City announced that it plans to regularly hold information technology seminars with the public and private sectors to discover and share ideas for creating a digitally leading city and to strengthen the digital capabilities of civil servants in charge of information technology work.
