대전시립합창단의 기획연주회 세계음악시리즈‘탱고’가 28일 목요일 오후 7시 30분 대전예술의전당 앙상블홀 무대에 오른다. 

이번 연주회는 늦가을의 진한 낭만과 어울리는 아르헨티나의 고유 장르인‘탱고’음악으로 기획했다. 

첫 번째 무대는 마틴 팔메리의 ‘미사 부에노스아이레스 (Misa a Buenos Ares)’ 일명 ‘미사 탱고’ 합창 무대로, 라틴어 미사곡 구성에 탱고의 리듬이 결합하여 관객들에게 이국적이고 색다른 미사곡을 선보일 것이다.

두 번째는 반도네온과 현악 5중주 그리고 피아노의 특별연주 무대로, 클래식과 재즈 음악을 접목하여 ‘Nuevo(새로운) 탱고’를 탄생시킨 아스토르 피아졸라의 ‘Oblivion(망각)’과 리차드 갈리아노의 ‘Tango pour Claude(클로드를 위한 탱고)’를 연주한다. 

세 번째는 특별무대로 영화 ‘여인의 향기’OST 카를로스 가르델의 ‘Por Una Cabeza(간발의 차이로)’ 곡에 맞춰 박수영 발레단이 관능적이고 우아한 탱고풍의 발레 공연을 준비한다. 

박수영 발레단은 충남대학교 무용학과 박수영 교수를 주축으로 대전, 세종지역에서 활동하고 무용가들로 구성되었으며 지역사회에 다양한 수준의 발레 공연을 선보이는 단체이다. 

마지막으로 김소월의 시에 탱고 선율을 입힌 김의헌 작곡가의 창작합창곡‘진달래 꽃’과 김준범이 편곡한 ‘베사메 무쵸’,  대중들에게 익숙한 피아졸라의 ‘리베르탱고’를 반도네온과 발레, 합창의 합동 무대로 공연의 대미를 장식한다.

이번 연주회는 대전시립합창단 전임지휘자 조은혜의 지휘 아래 반도네오니스트 김종완의 이국적인 멜로디와 현악 5중주의 풍성한 선율, 공연 완성도를 높여줄 발레까지 선보이며 관객들에게 정열의 탱고 무대를 선사할 것이다. 

입장료는 R석 10000원, S석 5000원이다.

Daejeon City Choir’s planned concert, World Music Series ‘Tango’, will be held at the Ensemble Hall of Daejeon Arts Center at 7:30 PM on Thursday, the 28th.

This concert was planned with ‘Tango’ music, a unique genre of Argentina that matches the deep romance of late autumn.

The first stage will be Martin Palmeri’s ‘Misa a Buenos Ares’, also known as ‘Misa Tango’, which combines the rhythm of tango with the structure of a Latin mass to present an exotic and unique mass to the audience.

The third is a special stage where the Park Soo-young Ballet Company will prepare a sensual and elegant tango-style ballet performance to the tune of Carlos Gardel's 'Por Una Cabeza (By a hair's breadth)' from the OST of the movie 'Scent of a Woman'.

The Park Soo-young Ballet Company is a group of dancers who are active in the Daejeon and Sejong areas, led by Professor Park Soo-young of the Department of Dance at Chungnam National University, and present ballet performances of various levels to the local community.

Lastly, the original choral piece ‘Azalea Flower’ by composer Kim Ui-heon, which was composed to a tango melody based on Kim So-wol’s poem, ‘Besame Mucho’ arranged by Kim Jun-beom, and Piazzolla’s ‘Libertango’, which is familiar to the public, will be performed as a joint performance of bandoneon, ballet, and choir to mark the end of the performance.

This concert will present the audience with a passionate tango stage, featuring the exotic melody of bandoneonist Kim Jong-wan, the rich melody of a string quintet, and ballet that will enhance the perfection of the performance, under the direction of Jo Eun-hye, the full-time conductor of the Daejeon City Choir.

Admission is 10,000 won for R seats and 5,000 won for S seats.
