대전관광공사가 22일부터 24일까지 대전컨벤션센터 제2전시장에서 ‘2024 대전콘텐츠페어’를 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 행사는 대전시가 주최하고 대전관광공사와 대전정보문화산업진흥원이 공동주관한다.

3회째를 맞이하는 ‘2024 대전콘텐츠페어’는 ‘2024 대전북페어’, ‘2024 대전국제웹툰잡페어’, ‘디쿠페스티벌’, ‘전국지자체공공캐릭터 공모전’이 함께 열리며, 웹툰, 애니메이션 등 다양한 콘텐츠와 서브컬처 축제에 걸맞은 다채로운 부대행사와 이벤트로 구성되어 있다.

행사 기간 동안 다양한 즐길 거리가 마련되어 있다. 

‘게임존’에서는 이터널리턴, TCG게임 등 온·오프라인을 넘나드는 다양한 게임을 체험할 수 있으며, ‘코스플레이 존’에서는 코스플레이 메이크업 체험과 유명 코스플레이어 팀과 함께하는 포토 이벤트가 진행된다.

이외에도 지역 내 웹툰 작가들과의 ‘웹툰작가 토크쇼’, 게임, 일러스트, 캐릭터 등 콘텐츠 산업 전문가들을 만나는 ‘잡 콘서트’가 열려, 참가자들에게 생생한 경험을 제공할 예정이다. 

또한, 대전의 대표 캐릭터인 꿈돌이를 비롯한 전국 지자체 캐릭터들이 한자리에 모여 전국지자체캐릭터 공모전 시상식도 진행된다.

특히 올해는 지역 상생을 위해 임산부 및 장애인에게 무료입장을 지원하며, 2024년 수능을 마친 수험생들을 위한 특별한 이벤트도 준비되어 있다. 

수험생들은 수험표를 지참하면 행사장에 무료로 입장할 수 있어, 그들의 노고를 격려하고 잠시나마 힐링의 시간을 제공할 예정이다.

이번 ‘2024 대전콘텐츠페어’는 대전 지역의 콘텐츠 산업을 활성화하고, 다양한 문화 체험의 장을 제공하는 중요한 행사로 기대된다.
