내년도 국비확보에 사활을 걸고 있는 이장우 대전시장이 기재부를 방문해 대전시 주요사업에 대한 국비 증액을 요청했다.

내년도 정부 예산안 국회 예결위 심의가 시작된 가운데 국비확보를 위한 막바지 총력전에 들어간 가운데 이장우 대전시장은 15일 오후 정부서울청사에서 김윤상 기획재정부 2차관을 만나 내년도 대전시 주요 사업에 대한 국비 지원을 건의했다고 대전시가 전했다.

이장우 시장은 앞서 11일 지역 국회의원과의 간담회를 갖고, 국회 상임․예결위 위원과 여․야 지도부를 만나 국비 확보 지원을 요청하는 등 연일 광폭 행보를 이어가고 있다.

이날 이 시장이 건의한 주요 10개 사업은 도시철도 2호선 트램 건설(1,259억 원) ,사정교~한밭대교 도로 개설(10억 원) ,우주산업 클러스터 인력양성(58억 원) ,공공어린이재활병원 운영지원(51억 원) ,웹툰 IP첨단 클러스터 조성 사업(15억 원) ,서부권 보훈휴양원 건립(1억 원) ,국립산림재난안전교육훈련센터 조성(9.3억 원) ,자유총연맹 자유회관 시설보강(21억 원) ,장동 ~ 이현 간 도로 신설(7억 원) ,도시철도 1호선 철도통합무선망(LTE-R) 구축(64.7억 원)으로 국회 증액 협조를 요청했다. 

이장우 대전시장은 “대전시가 한 단계 더 도약하기 위해서는 중앙정부의 지원이 절실한 상황”이라며 “이번에 건의한 사업들이 국회 심사 단계에서 증액 반영될 수 있도록 적극적으로 협조해달라”라고 당부했다고 밝혔다.
