대전시설관리공단 기성종합복지관이 지난 7일, 인근 4개 지역 아동센와 연계를 통한 학교 밖 돌봄 체육프로그램 Let’s play! 늘봄 신나는 배드민턴 프로그램을 진행했다고 8일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 범국가적 인구 위기 극복을 위한 총력 대응으로‘지방공공기관 저출생 지방소멸 극복 방향’에 대전시시설관리공단도 발맞추어 특별대책 수립을 통한 시설별 특화 프로그램 진행 및 시설 개방 노력의 일환으로 진행됐다.

현재 복지관에서는 늘봄학교 추진 사업으로 지역아동센터 도서 공유사업과 청소년 독서 골든벨 대회개최, 어린이 방학 특강 무료 수영강습 등 다양한 프로그램을 제공하고 있으며 신규로 진행되는 배드민턴 프로그램은 지역 초등학생 10명을 대상으로 주 1회 2개월 동안 진행된다.

공단 관계자는“저출산고령화사회에 지방소멸 극복을 위해 지방공공기관으로서의 책무를 다하기 위해 앞으로도 교육청, 학교, 지역아동센터 등과 함께 힘을 모아 시설 개방, 프로그램 개발 및 진행에 노력하겠다고” 전했다.
