세종시교육청이 질 높은 영유아 교육·보육 환경 조성과 유보통합의 이상적인 모델을 현장에 구현하기 위해 (가칭)영유아학교 시범사업 기관을 출범시키고  발대식 및 기관장 협의체를 개최했다.

19일 시교육청에 따르면 시범 기관은 공모에 참여한 지역 내 유치원과 어린이집 중 최종 5개 유형의 기관으로 확정됐다.

선정된 기관은 ▲아이마루유치원(사립) ▲보람더원어린이집(국공립) ▲ 세종정희어린이집(민간) ▲아이세상어린이집(직장) ▲꿈씨앗어린이집(가정)으로, 9월부터 내년 2월까지 6개월간 운영한다.

시범사업의 실행력을 높이기 위해 개최된 이번 시범 기관장 협의체는 ▲세종시교육청의 시범 기관 운영·관리 방안 안내 ▲시범 기관 특성을 반영한 운영 내실화 방안 모색 ▲ 교사 역량 강화 방안 등 논의 ▲시범 기관 지정서 전달 등이 이뤄졌다.

최교진 교육감은 “이번 (가칭)영유아학교 시범사업은 세종시 영유아 교육의 미래를 밝히는 초석이 될 것”이라며, “이번 시범사업을 통해 세종시 영유아 교육·보육 환경의 질이 높아지고, 바람직한 유보통합 모델이 구현될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.

The Sejong City Office of Education launched the (tentative name) Infant and Toddler School Pilot Project Institution and held the launch ceremony and directors' council to create a high-quality infant and toddler education and childcare environment and implement the ideal model of preschool and kindergarten integration on the ground.

According to the city office of education on the 19th, the pilot institutions were finally confirmed as 5 types of institutions among the kindergartens and daycare centers in the region that participated in the public offering.
