송활섭 대전시의원(국민의힘, 대덕구2)이 대표 발의한 ‘대전광역시 무인항공기산업 육성 및 지원 조례 일부개정조례안’이 10일 산업건설위원회에서 원안 가결됐다.

드론산업의 세계시장 규모는 연 평균 7.8% 성장해 2030년, 약 70조원까지 성장할 것으로 예상되는 가운데 이번에 발의한 개정조례안을 통해 대전시 드론산업을 보다 촘촘하게 지원할 수 있게 될 전망이다.

개정조례안에는 무인항공기산업 육성·지원 조례의 제명 변경과 용어 정비를 포함해 ,드론산업 육성 및 지원에 필요한 시설의 설치 및 운영에 관한 사항 ,협력체계 구축에 관한 사항 등을 담고 있다.

송활섭 의원은 “드론산업을 육성할 지원 근거가 마련됨으로써 일류경제도시 대전의 미래산업 지원체계 구축에 기여할 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편 산건위는 또 송 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘대전광역시 중소기업 기술혁신 촉진에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안’이을 원안 가결하면서 대전시 차원의 지역 내 중소기업 기술보호 관련 지원이 가능해질 것으로 보인다.

송활섭 의원이 발의한 개정조례안은 산업단지 500만평 조성, 경제자유구역 지정 추진 등에 따라 대전시에 중소기업 수의 증가가 예상되고, 4대 전략 산업인 우주·바이오·반도체·국방 등 첨단기술의 중요성이 커지는 상황에서 중소기업 기술침해를 미연에 방지하는데 기여할 전망이다.
