충남 논산시가 기정예산 대비 1391억 원이 증가한 1조 2079억 원을 편성한‘2024년도 제1회 추가경정예산안’을 10일 시의회에 제출했다고 밝혔다.

시의회에 제출된 제1회 추경예산안은 당초 1조 688억원보다 13.02%(1391억원) 증가한 1조 2079억 원이다. 

이 가운데 일반회계는 1조 1115억 원, 특별회계는 964억 원 규모다. 

이번 추경은 탑정호를 거점으로 한 복합문화관광사업을 본격화하기 위한 사업비를 반영하여 관광 경쟁력을 강화시키고, 농업·체육 관련 예산을 증액하여 지역 경기 부양에 기여할 수 있도록 중점 투자했다는게 논산시의 설명이다.

세출 주요 투자사업으로는 탑정호 휴양단지 조성사업 37억 원 ,탑정호 어드벤처 키즈파크·물빛정원·생태탐방로 조성사업 용역비 17억 원 ,스마트 농업육성으로 농가 소득증대를 위한 스마트팜 복합단지 조성사업 15억 원 ,지역 축산경쟁력 강화를 위한 가축 경매시장 현대화 20억 원 ,부족한 생활체육시설 확충을 위한 다목적 체육공원 조성을 위한 보상비 및 용역비 20억 원 ,지역 상권 활성화를 위한 논산사랑 지역화폐 발행지원 22억 원 ,첨단기술 활용한 어린이 체험관 조성을 위한 백제군사박물관 AI 어린이 상상놀이터 22억 원 ,재해 예방을 위한 지방하천 및 소하천 정비 43억 원 등을 편성했다.

논산시 관계자는 “긴축재정 속에서도 투자 시기별 효율적인 예산 운용을 통해 민선 8기 시민행복시대를 위한 현안사업, 지역경제 활성화 등의 예산을 최대한 반영하였으며, 예산안이 의결·확정 되는 대로 계획된 사업들이 차질 없이 추진해 나갈 수 있도록 신속하게 집행해 나갈 예정”이라고 말했다.

한편 2024년 제1회 추가경정예산안은 이번 달 17일부터 열리는 제255회 논산시의회 제1차 정례회 심의를 거쳐 28일 최종 확정될 예정이다.
