대전하나시티즌의 새 사령탑에 황선홍 전  U-23 축구 대표팀 감독이 선임됐다.

3일 대전하나시티즌에 따르면 제15대 사령탑으로 황선홍 전 U-23 축구 국가대표팀 감독을 낙점했다고 밝혔다.

대전하나는 최근 성적 부진으로 K리그1 11위를 기록하고 있는 위기 상황을 타파하며 새로운 변화와 반전이 필요한 시점이다. 

국내외 리그와 국가대표 팀에서 선수, 지도자로 풍부한 경력을 가지고 있는 황선홍 감독이 선수단을 통솔하는 리더십과 경험을 바탕으로 위기를 극복할 적임자로 판단했다.

현역 선수 시절 대한민국을 대표하는 간판 스트라이커였던 황선홍 감독은 2008년 부산에서 지도자로 첫 발을 내디뎠다. 

2011년부터 포항을 이끌며 2013년에는 정규리그와 FA컵 2관왕의 위업을 달성했다. 5년 동안 포항에 리그 99승, 3개의 트로피(정규리그 1회, FA컵 2회)를 선사하며 K리그를 대표하는 명장으로 명성을 떨쳤다.

또한, 2016년에는 FC서울 감독으로 다시 한번 K리그1 정상에 오르며 2013년, 2016년에는 K리그1 감독상을 수상했다.
