세종시가 2024년 지방자치단체 정부합동평가에서 특·광역시 부문 정량·정성평가 모두 1위를 달성하는 등 시 출범 이후 역대 최고 성적을 거뒀다고 25일 밝혔다.

정부합동평가는 행정안전부 주관으로 전국 시도의 국가위임사무, 국고보조사업, 국가 주요시책의 추진 성과를 평가하는 유일한 지방자치단체 종합평가 제도다.

평가는 정량평가(목표달성도) ,정성평가(우수사례 선정) ,국민평가(우수사례 선정)로 나눠 이뤄진다.

세종시는 이번 평가에서 정량평가 83개의 지표 중 80개(96.4%) 지표의 목표를 달성해 특·광역시 부문 1위를 차지했다.

특히 지난해 실적과 비교해 지표 목표 달성이 10.7%포인트 상승해 평가 대상 지자체 중 실적 상승률이 가장 높았다.

정성평가에서는 17개 지표 중 7건의 우수사례가 뽑혀 특·광역시 부문 1위를 달성하는 영예를 안았다.
