대전시교육청이 12일 대전교육과학연구원에서 공립학교 및 기관의 학교장 등 283명을 대상으로 정기 안전보건교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 학교의 산업재해가 점차 늘고 있어 각급학교 교장 등 관리감독자를 대상으로 현장 중심의 안전보건 확보방안과 안전의식을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.

안전한 근무환경 조성을 위해 학교장의 안전보건교육은 연간 16시간 진행될 예정이다. 특히 올해부터는 대면 교육시간을 확대할 계획으로 학교의 산업재해 예방 효과가 클 것으로 기대되고 있다. 

이외에도 각급학교의 업무경감과 안전보건확보를 위한 안전보건통합컨설팅,위험성평가방법 등 제도개선도 이어지고 있고, 자발적 위험요소 제거를 통해 산업재해를 줄이기 위한 위험성평가를 교육청의 안전보건전문가가 직접 실시하여 학교의 호응을 얻고 있다. 

설동호 대전광역시교육감은 “학교도 산업재해와 중대재해처벌에서 예외가 될 수 없다.”라며 “학교장이 솔선수범하고 전직원들이 함께 참여하여 산업재해를 줄이고 안전한 교육현장을 만들어주기를 바란다.”라고 말했다.
