충남도가 2026년 개장을 목표로 명품 ‘충남도립파크골프장’ 건립을 위한 실시설계 착수 등 준비작업에 나섰다.

충남도는 파크골프장 내에 대한파크골프협회 이전 및 교육센터와 클럽하우스 등을 신축해 청양군 일대를 국내 파크골프의 메카로 조성한다는 방침이다.

이와 함께 연말까지 도내에 30개 파크골프장을 추가로 조성해 총 60곳을 운영할 계획으로, 어르신들을 위한 생활체육시설 확대도 빈틈없이 추진한다.

송무경 문화체육관광국장은 2일 도청 프레스센터에서 기자회견을 열고 “지난 1일 충남도립파크골프장 밑그림을 그리기 위한 설계용역 착수보고회를 개최했다”며 “2026년 문을 여는데 차질이 발생하지 않도록 적극 행정을 펼치겠다”고 강조했다.

총사업비는 230억원으로, 국비 30억원과 도비 200억원이 투입되는 대규모 사업이다.
