대전시가 올해 고용율 목표를 68%로 제시하고 세부계획을 밝혔다.

먼저 대전시는 지역 주도의 일자리 정책 추진을 통해 ‘기업․사람․일자리가 모이는 일류 경제도시 대전’을 실현하기 위해 2024년도 일자리대책 세부계획을 수립·공시했다.

대전시가 밝힌 계획에는 5대 핵심전략, 12대 추진과제, 176개 일자리 세부사업이 담겼으며 올해 4천972억 원을 투입해 5만5천691개 일자리를 창출하고 고용률(15~64세) 68.0%을 달성한다는 목표를 제시했다. 

주요 일자리정책 추진 방향은 청년이 선호하는 고용 창출에 주력하여 고용유지, 지역정착까지 이어지는 고용생태계 구축 ,고용서비스 강화를 통한 노동시장 미스매칭 완화 ,신산업 육성을 통한 양질의 일자리 창출과 마지막으로, 서비스 중심 산업구조에서 탈피, 첨단산업 중심으로의 산업 고도화이다.
