대전도시공사가 신임 정해교 경영본부장(이사)이 1일 취임과 함께 공식 업무를 시작했다고 전했다.

별도의 취임행사 없이 간소한 임명장 수여식만 갖고 업무를 시작한 정 본부장은 충남대학교 영어영문과를 졸업하고 1995년 공직에 입문했다. 

대전시 자치행정국장, 도시주택국장과 서구 부구청장 등을 역임하고 지난 2월 환경녹지국장을 마지막으로 명예퇴직한 바 있다. 도시주택, 환경 등 도시공사 업무와 밀접한 분야에서 다년간 근무하며 전문성을 갖춘 것으로 평가 받고 있다.

정해교 이사는 “대전시와 공사의 현안 사업을 신속히 추진하기 위해 공사 경영부문의 효율성을 높이고, 조직의 혁신과 성장을 위해 노력하겠다”는 의지를 밝혔다.
