국민의힘 세종(을) 이준배 국회의원 후보가 30일 청년조직 발대식을 개최하고 ‘새로운 세종’ 만들기 청년 프로젝트 가동을 시작했다.

세종시 청년 300여 명이 참여한 ‘청년300’ 발대식은 청년들의 다양한 고민과 요구를 해결하고, 지역발전을 위해 활발한 활동과 소통을 통해 세종시 발전을 위한 주춧돌이 되기 위해 한 목소리를 냈다.

30일 이준배 후보 응답캠프에 따르면 이날 오후 3시경 아름동에 위치한 캠프에서 300여 명의 청년들이 참석한 가운데 ‘청년300’ 발대식을 갖고 이 후보의 압승을 기원하며 지지의사를 피력했다고 전했다.

‘청년300’은 세종에 거주하는 청년 300여명으로 구성됐으며 이들은 오직 ‘세종시의 변화’에 대한 열망을 표출하기 위해 이 후보를 지지하게 됐다고 설명했다.

윤여택 청년위원장은 “세종시의 변화를 이끌 후보는 이준배 후보뿐이다. 청년들과 함께 소통하고, 고민해주는 후보로 마음에 끌려 참여하게 됐다”며 “이번 총선에서 이준배 후보의 승리가 세종시 변화의 시작”이라고 역설했다.

이준배 후보는 “청년들이 세종의 미래고 청년이 있어 세종이 있을 수 있다. 세종의 청년들이 자발적으로 이렇게 모여주셔서 감사하다”며 “이 자리에 참석한 청년들이 꿈꿀 수 있고, 희망을 가질 수 있게 청년들의 미래를 함께 만들어 나가겠다”고 강조했다.
