대전시가 전세사기 피해 예방을 위해 전세보증금반환보증 보증료 지원사업 대상 범위를 청년 저소득층에서 전 연령으로 넓히고, 소득요건도 대폭 완화했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 사업은 최근 주택 전세사기 및 역전세 현상 등으로 임대차 계약 종료 이후에도 보증금을 돌려받지 못하는 피해가 급증함에 따라, 이미 납부한 전세반환보증 보증료에 대해 최대 30만 원까지 지원하는 사업이다.

이를 위해 대전시는 국토교통부에서 국비 50%를 지원받아 올해 11억 원을 투입한다는 계획이다. 

신청은 3월 4일부터 가능하며 예산 소진 시까지 지원된다. 

지원 대상은 주택 전세보증금이 3억 원 이하이고, 전세보증보험(HUG, HF, SGI)에 가입한 무주택 임차인으로 연소득 (청년) 5천만 원, (청년 외) 6천만 원, (신혼부부) 7천5백만 원 이하이면 신청할 수 있다.
