대전시교육청이 지난해 각급학교와 산하기관 및 교직원이 대전교육사랑카드를 사용하여 모은 적립금 5억 8천600만 원을 농협으로 부터 전달받았다고 28일 밝혔다.

올해 제시된 전년도 실적은 이전년도보다 약6000만 원 증가한 5억 8600만 원으로 2004년부터 지금까지 총 적립금은 54억 326만 원에 달한다.

대전교육사랑카드 적립금은 경제적으로 어려운 학생, 재능우수 및 체육우수 학생 장학금 등으로 매년 사용되고 있으며, 2023년에는 229명의 학생들에게 지원되었다.
