지난 1991년도 부터 34년째 소외 계층을 대상으로 한 미용봉사 활동을 이어가고 있는 대한미용사회 대전서구지회(이하 대전서구미용사회, 회장 신관순) 갑진년 새해에도 미용봉사 활동을 이어가고 있다.

지칠줄 모르는 봉사활동을 실시하고 있는 대전서구미용사회는 그동안 서구 소재 중증장애인거주시설, 지적장애인거주시설, 시각장애인거주시설, 대전장애인평생교육문화센터, 서구보훈회관 6.25참전용사전우회 등 우리사회가 관심과 애정을 가지고 보듬어야할 시설과 기관을 방문해 미용봉사활동을 펼치고 있다.

지난 1991년부터 시작된 대전서구미용사회의 소외계층에 대한 미용봉사활동은 현재까지 4만8천여 명이 수혜를 입었다.
