국민의힘 대전 중구 이은권 국회의원 예비후보가 21일 ‘사정교-한밭대교 도로개설’ 공약을 발표했다.

이은권 예비후보는 대전 도심을 통과하는 국도 4호선과 유등로는 대전에서 손꼽히는 교통정체 구간이며, 특히 유등로의 경우 일일 교통량이 약 7만대에 육박해 교통정체로 인한 불편이 심각한 상황이라고 지적한 이은권 예비후보는 대전의 순환교통망 형성을 위해 교통체증이 심각한 곳으로 꼽히는 구간의 교통량 분산을 위해 유등천 우안에 왕복 4차로, 7.54km 규모의 도로를 개설한다는 계획이라고 밝혔다.

이 예비후보에 따르면 사정교-한밭대교 도로개설 사업에 투입되는 총 예산은 1663억원으로 현재 기재부 예비타당성조사 대상에 선정된 상태다. 예비타당성조사 통과 시 보상비를 제외한 사업비에서 50%를 국비로 지원받게 된다. 

이 예비후보는 “20대 국회의원 재임 시절 정림중-버드내교 간 도로개설 사업을 관철시킨 경험이 있다”라며 “과거 경험을 살려 사정교-한밭대교 간 도로개설 사업 역시 예비타당성조사 통과부터 예산 확보, 완공까지 차질 없이 진행될 수 있도록 힘쓰겠다”고 사업 완성에 대한 강한 의지를 보였다.

이어 “유등천 우안 왕복 4차로 도로는 대전의 중앙부 남북측을 연결하는 대전의 동맥과도 같은 도로가 될 것”이라며 “출퇴근 시간대 통행시간 단축 등 시민 이동 편의성을 향상시켜 사통팔달 중구 교통망을 완성하겠다”고 설명했다.
