충남도와 NH농협은행·충남신용보증재단이 도내 중소기업과 소상공인의 경영안정을 위한 705억원 규모의 신용보증을 마련했다.

이를 위해 충남도는 21일 도청에서 김태흠 지사와 이석용 NH농협은행장, 백남성 NH농협은행 충남본부장, 김두중 충남신용보증재단 이사장이 참여한 가운데 ‘중소기업·소상공인 금융 지원을 위한 특별출연 업무협약’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약에 따라 NH농협은행은 충남신용보증재단에 47억원을 특별출연하고, 충남신용보증재단은 NH농협은행 충남본부 특별출연금을 바탕으로 도내 중소기업과 소상공인에게 705억원 규모의 신용보증을 지원한다.

충남도는 상반기에 소상공인 보증연계 자금 3000억원을 공급할 예정으로, 2년간 이자 2.5%를 지원한다. 

충남도는 이번 신용보증 추가 지원이 고물가로 어려움을 겪고 있는 중소기업과 소상공인들의 자금난 완화에 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

김태흠 지사는 “이번 특별출연으로 경영난에 허덕이는 중소기업과 소상공인에게 금융지원을 할 수 있게 됐다”며 “어려울 때 친구가 진짜 친구라고 하는데, 이는 농협과 충남을 두고 하는 말이라고 생각한다”고 말했다.
