대전시가 현재 운영하고 있는 전세피해지원센터(이하 ‘지원센터’) 운영시간을 20일부터 매주 화요일마다 저녁 9시까지 연장한다고 15일 밝혔다.

대전시의 이번 연장 조치는 전세피해자 대부분이 학생이나 생업에 종사하는 2030 세대로 일과시간(9시~18시) 내에 지원센터 방문이 어렵다는 피해자 건의를 적극적으로 반영한 것으로 이용자 상황을 보아 필요시 확대한다는 방침이다.

전세사기 피해 임차인 지원을 위한 지원센터는 피해자가 일일이 관할기관을 방문해야 하는 불편을 해소하기 위해 경‧공매 지원신청 원스톱 서비스도 개시한다.

이는 그동안 피해자가 특별법상 지원신청을 하기 위해서는 각 지원 대책 관할기관을 직접 방문해 접수해야 했지만, 앞으로는 별도 기관 방문 없이도 구비서류를 준비해 지원센터에서 일괄 신청이 가능하도록 하는 서비스이다.
