IBK기업은행(은행장 김성태)이 지난 22일 밤 발생한 화재로 인해 피해를 입은 서천특화시장 상인들을 위해 피해복구 성금 3억 원을 지난 25일 서천군에 전달했다.

IBK기업은행 또 이번 화재 피해를 본 소상공인 및 중소기업을 대상으로 기업당 최대 5억원의 운전자금 및 시설물 피해복구 자금을 지원하며, 대출금리도 최대 1.5%포인트까지 감면할 계획이라고 밝혔다. 

김성태 은행장은 화재 현장을 직접 방문해 소상공인 및 상인들의 애로사항을 경청했으며, 개인 고객에게는 개인당 최대 3000만원의 긴급생계안정자금 지원하고, 대출금리를 최대 1.0%p(포인트)까지 감면하는 금융지원을 추진하겠다고 밝혔다.

김기웅 군수는 “서천특화시장 화재 복구를 위해 온정의 손길을 베풀어 주셔서 감사드리며, 앞으로 피해복구에 최선을 다해 노력하겠다”고 전했다.

한편 서천군은 이번 화재로 인해 피해를 입은 상인들을 위한 신속한 피해복구 등을 위해 지방세 기한 연장, 징수유예 등 적극 지원에 나선다고 26일 밝혔다.
