충남도의회 건설소방위원회(위원장 김기서, 이하 건소위)가 지난 7일 2024년도 본에산안 심의를 통해, 건설소방위원회 소관 부서(공공기관 유치단, 균형발전국, 건설교통국, 소방본부)의 본예산안 1조 6738억 원 중 과다계상 및 사업재검토가 필요한 사업 총 20건 27억 5900만 원을 삭감 심의 의결 했다고 밝혔다.

날 예산안 심의에서 삭감된 주요 사업은 균형발전국 소관 3건(8억) ,건설교통국 소관 9건(12억 3580만 원) ,공공기관유치단 소관 5건(5억 200만 원) ,소방본부 소관 3건(2억 2123만 원) 등이다.

예산안 심의에 나선 김기서 위원(부여1·국민의힘)은 “소방공무원의 맞춤형복지제도 단체보험은 소방공무원의 생명‧상해‧암‧특정질병‧의료비 등을 보장하기 위한 것”이라며 “최대한 보장성이 좋은 상품으로 세심한 비교·분석을 통해 계약해 달라”고 당부했다.

김도훈 위원(천안6·국민의힘)은 “풍수해 대비 대응장비 구입 시 현장 소방대원들의 안전 장비인 구명조끼 또한 부족하지 않게 살펴달라”며 “특히 SNS 홍보콘텐츠 제작 시 주거지 화재대피방법, 응급처치 및 자동심장충격기 사용법 등 홍보를 다양화해야 한다”고 당부했다.
