대전시교육청이 22일 대전컨벤션센터에서 ‘2023 대전미래교육박람회’ 개막식 및 1일차 행사를 진행하였다고 밝혔다.

학생, 학부모, 교직원 등 현장 참석자와 온라인 참여자를 대상으로 대전시교육청이 주최·주관하는 이번 박람회는‘모두를 위한 미래교육, 미래를 여는 대전교육’을 주제로 개막식, 학술마당, 체험마당, 홍보마당, 이벤트 등 다채로운 프로그램으로 운영됐다. 

이날 개막식은 대전출신 성악영재 강민성 바리톤과 김도연 소프라노의 예술공연을 시작으로 진행됐고, 설동호 대전시교육감의‘모든 학생의 행복한 성장을 지원하는 대전교육’을 주제로 한 TED 강연에서는 고교학점제, 그린스마트 스쿨, 노벨과학 꿈키움 프로젝트, 글로벌 현장학습 등 미래사회에 필요한 핵심역량을 키우기 위한 대전교육을 소개하는 시간을 가졌다.

이어진 토크콘서트에서는‘예술로 행복한 학생, 예술이 살아있는 대전학교예술교육’를 주제로 학생, 학부모, 교원 등 교육공동체와 함께 학생들의 행복한 성장과 긍정적인 변화를 이끄는 대전학교예술교육을 함께 이야기했다.

특히 AI 프로그램을 활용한 이모티콘 만들기, 증강현실(AR)과 가상현실(VR)을 이용하여 메타버스로 나만의 LED 태양계 워터볼 만들기, 친환경 업사이클링 제품 만들기 등 디지털 신기술과 기후위기를 반영한 다양하고 새로운 체험에 많은 학생들의 관심과 인기를 끌었다.
