KT&G가 ‘2030 부산세계박람회’ 유치를 지원하기 위해 버스킹 및 레이저 퍼포먼스, SNS 홍보 등 온‧오프라인을 활용한 응원 총력전에 나섰다.

지난 19일 KT&G 상상마당 부산에서는 세계박람회 유치를 기원하는 버스킹이 진행됐다. 

이번 버스킹은 ‘minƵu(밍글)’ ‘수연’ 등 상상마당 부산이 배출한 총 6개 팀들이 참가해 공연과 더불어 박람회 유치를 기원하는 메시지를 전달했으며, 오는 26일 한차례 더 진행될 예정이다.

오는 25일 저녁에는 상상마당 부산의 건물 외벽에 세계박람회 유치 기원 메시지를 비추는 레이저 퍼포먼스가 펼쳐질 예정이다.

22일부터 27일까지는 “부산에서 2030 엑스포가 열리면, ~” 이라는 주제로 SNS 채널을 활용한 ‘미디어파사드 백일장’이 진행된다.

또 전국 상상마당 및 상상플래닛 등 오프라인과 KT&G의 공식 계정을 포함한 모든 SNS 채널을 통해 세계박람회 유치를 위한 홍보영상이 송출될 예정이다.

한편, KT&G는 부산세계박람회의 성공적인 유치를 지원하기 위해 꾸준한 홍보 활동을 이어왔다. 

상상마당 부산은 ‘페스티벌 시옷’을 통해 대형 현수막 퍼포먼스 등 다양한 프로그램을 선보였으며, 전국 상상마당 5곳과 상상플래닛, 

전국 영업기관 115개소에 부산 갈매기를 의인화한 ‘부기’ 캐릭터 조형물을 배치했다. 또 전국 영업차량 885대에 박람회 유치 응원 스티커를 부착하는 등 홍보전을 펼치고 있다.

이밖에도, 인도네시아에 운영 중인 청년 지원 공간 ‘유니브존’에 홍보영상을 상영하고, 인니 한국어학당, 직업훈련센터와 주요 해외법인 및 공장에 응원 현수막, 배너를 설치하는 등 해외에서도 부산세계박람회 유치 분위기 조성에 힘을 보태고 있다.

KT&G 관계자는 “세계박람회 유치를 통해 지역경제 활성화와 국가 이미지 제고 등 여러 긍정적인 효과가 기대된다”며, “얼마 남지 않은 최종 선정일까지 부산세계박람회 유치를 위한 전사적인 응원 총력전을 펼칠 것”이라고 말했다.
