제5회 평화 어린이 그림 그리기 국제대회에서  카노크누치 클라한(태국, 스리푸리에타 고등학교)이 대상의 영광을 차지했다.

금상은 초등부문에서 제니퍼 샤론(인도네시아), 중등부문에서 전유정(대한민국), 고등부문 클라리사 요슬린(인도네시아)에게 은상은 징스 리아쾃(파키스탄), 나탈리아 테이 씽 후이(말레이시아), 후삼 살라(팔레스타인)에게 수여됐다. 

㈔세계여성평화그룹(IWPG: International Women’s Peace Group)이 지난 18일  온라인으로 제5회 ‘평화사랑 그림그리기 국제대회’ 본선 시상식을 갖고 이 같이 결정했다.

이번 행사는 평화 문화 정책의 일환으로 어린이와 청소년들에게 지구촌 전쟁종식 세계평화를 함께 이루고자 하는 ‘평화의 마음’을 심어주기 위해 기획됐다. 

올해는 61개국 117개 도시에서 1만 25명의 어린이와 청소년이 참가했다. 지난해보다 9개국 증가한 규모다. 8개 국어로 동시 통역이 진행됐으며, 수상자와 학부모를 포함해 700여 명의 관련자가 참석해 수상을 축하했다. 

IWPG는 국가별 미술협회, 예술가협회 등과 연계해 심사를 거쳐 대상 1명, 각 부문 금·은·동상 1명(총 9명), 장려상 5명(총 15명)과 입선작을 포함해 총 43점의 시상작을 선정했다.

본선 심사위원장인 독일의 카니 알라비 이스트사이드갤러리 대표는 “이 국제대회를 통해 평화의 소식을 전 세계에 전해야 한다”며 “이 같은 협력이 계속 이뤄지면 마침내 평화의 때가 올 수밖에 없다”고 역설했다.

대상을 수상한 카노크누치 클라한은 “이 그림을 통해 평화를 실현하는 전 세계 사람들의 연대를 보여주고 싶었다”며 “모든 사람이 평화에 기여하고 동참했으면 좋겠다”고 수상 소감을 전했다.

동상은 미카엘라 알리나 수크마 사푸트로(인도네시아), 프리얀카 초프라(인도네시아), 이현수(대한민국)가 받았다.

장려상에는 알씨 다흐냐 지아 M. 야라(필리핀), 셜리 애니켓 모어(인도), 최유경(대한민국), 나타난 총킷위츠와칸(태국), 나바니에타 A/P 지반 토르 서우신(말레이시아), 모하메드 유시프(팔레스타인), 차냐냐 통토이(태국), 마힌 굴자르(파키스탄), 푸립더르지 이트레르엔(몽골), 샤이크 사이마 Md. 유수프(인도), 다니아 에이샤 빗 주하이리 아리핀(말레이시아), 칼자 엔크사란(몽골), 데니엘 수와레즈(미국), 자와허 압달라 알 굴(레바논), 카테리나 브르스코바(체코)가 이름을 올렸다.

이 외에도 토미나가 리히토(일본) 외 8명의 그림이 입선작으로 선정됐다.

대상에는 상금 100만원이, 금·은·동상은 각각 30만원, 20만원, 10만원이 주어진다. 본선에서 입선 이상 수상한 작품들은 모두 수상 작품집에 실린다.

윤현숙 IWPG 대표는 축사를 통해 “이번 그림대회를 통해 여러분이 그려낸 평화 세상의 모습을 잘 봤다”며 “그 평화의 가르침과 정신을 기억해 앞으로 지구촌의 평화를 선도하는 리더가 돼 달라”고 말했다.

한편 ,IWPG는 내년에도 제6회 평화사랑 그림그리기 국제대회를 개최할 방침이다.
