송인석 대전시의원(국민의힘, 동구1)은 16일 열린 제274회 제2차 정례회 산업건설위원회 건설관리본부 행정사무감사에서 대전시 건설공사에 소요되는 관급자재에 대해 지역업체가 생산하고 있는 자재가 배제되고 있다고 지적하고 개선을 요청했다. 

이날 송인석 의원은 최근 관급자재 지역업체 배제로 인한 민원에 대해 언급하고, “시에서는 관급자재 구매시 동일규격이 없다 하더라도 안전 측면에서 문제가 없다면 지역업체의 관급자재를 적극 적용하는 것이 바람직하다”고 강조하며, 자재 가격 상승 및 건설경기 악화로 어려움을 겪는 지역업체가 상생할 수 있도록 지역업체 자재 사용 확대를 주문했다. 

송 의원은 이어, “홍도 지하차도 준공이 겨우 2년 밖에 지나지 않았음에도 지하차도 내부가 지저분하다는 민원이 끊이지 않고 있다”고 지적하고, 시에서는 청소 업체에만 맡기지 말고, 관계공무원이 직접 현장을 나가서 철저히 점검할 것을 주문했다.
