김태흠 충남도지사가 내년에는 더 좋은 정책으로 도내 중소기업을 뒷받침 하겠다는 뜻을 밝힌 가운데, 16일 도청 대회의실에서 서규석 (재)충남테크노파크 원장, 조창현 중소기업중앙회 대전세종충남지역본부 회장을 비롯한 14개 기관·단체 대표들이 참석한 가운데, ‘도내 중소기업 관련 기관·단체 대표 간담회’를 개최했다고 충남도가 밝혔다.

간담회에서 김 지사는 “전체 사업체 수의 99%, 종사자 수의 81%를 차지하고 있는 중소기업은 충남경제의 뿌리”라며 “중소기업이 살아야 나라가 산다는 저의 소신은 분명하다”고 말했다.

이어 “올해 중소기업육성자금으로 9000억원을 지원했는데, 경영안정에 보탬이 될 수 있도록 지속 노력하겠다”며 “요즘 젊은 사람들은 경쟁력 있고, 처우도 좋은 중소기업을 ‘갓소’라고 부르는데, 도내 중소기업을 모두 갓소기업으로 만드는데 힘을 합쳐 나가자”고 강조했다.

이날 간담회에서 중소기업중앙회 대전충남지역본부는 충남도 중소기업협동조합 활성화 지원 확대 ,중소기업 제조물책임(PL)보험 가입 지원 등을 건의했다.

한국표준협회 충남북부지부는 국가품질상 수상자 대상 간담회에  도지사가 참석해 수상자를 격려해 줄 것을 적극 요청했다.

간담회 참석자들의 의견을 청취한 김 지사는 “내년에는 더 나은 정책으로 중소기업을 뒷받침할 것”이라며 “실질적이고 효과적인 중소기업 지원책이 마련될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 답했다.
