제104회 전국체육대회 대전시 선수단 해단식이 14일 오후 3시 시청 대강당에서 개최됐다.

대전시와 대전시체육회가 마련한 이날 해단식은 이장우 대전시장, 이상래 시의회 의장, 설동호 교육감, 이승찬 시 체육회장, 회원종목단체장, 메달리스트(임원, 선수) 등 250여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

이날 해단식에서는 전국체육대회에서 우수한 성적을 거둔 종목단체와 금메달리스트 43명, 은메달리스트 51명, 동메달 55명, 선수 지도자 등에게 시상금을 전달하고 격려했다.

 대전선수단은 전남에서 열린 제104회 전국체육대회에서 임원 531명과 선수 1021명 등 총 1552명이 참가한 결과 2만 9536점을 획득해 17개 시도 중 14위에 올랐다. 

15위였던 지난해보다 점수는 1152점, 순위는 1단계 올라간 성적이다.

특히, 항저우 아시안게임에서 금메달을 획득한 오상욱(펜싱, 대전시청)을 비롯하여 박가연(철인3종, 대전시청), 원린아(핀수영, 대전시청), 조신영(카누, 대전체육회), 양영웅, 문종원(조정, K-water), 문익희(역도, 대전체고 3)가 대회 2관왕의 영광을 차지했다. 

이장우 대전시장은 “145만 대전시민을 대표하여 선전한 선수단에게 감사하다”라며“이번 대회에서 일반부의 활약이 돋보였다. 올해 경기력과 내년도 11개 팀 창단을 발판 삼아 대전체육이 한층 더 성장하기를 기대한다”라고 말했다.
