대전시의회 산업건설위원회 송대윤(더불어민주당, 유성구 제2선거구) 의원이 도시철도 현충원역 환승센터 운영과 관련 관리부실를 질타하고 나섰다.

송 의원은 14일 열린 대전시의회 제274회 제2차 정례회 행정사무감사에서 현충원역 환승주차장 환경 문제와 관련하여 대전시의 부족한 행정을 지적하고, 질타했다. 

송 의원은 현충원역 환승주차장의 열악한 환경을 지적하며 “주차장인지 쓰레기장인지 알 수가 없다.”며 관리부실을 지적했다.  

이날 송 의원은 “현충원역 주차장은 올해 8월 1일부터 유료화되었으나 주차장은 주차선도 제대로 그려져 있지 않고 시설도 매우 지저분한 상태로 방치되어 있어 이용자들이 발길을 돌리고 있다”고 말했다.

그러면서 “주차장 이용이 활성화되지 않음에 따라 이용자들이 주차장 대신 인근 지역에 무단으로 주차 함으로써 인근 주민들도 교통에 불편을 겪고 있는 악순환이 지속되고 있어 개선이 시급한 상황이다”라고 지적해 주차장 이용 활성화 필요성을 제기했다.

송대윤 의원은 “시민들에게 이용료를 받았으면 그에 상응하는 서비스가 제공되는 것이 마땅한 것”이라며 “향후 교통공사와 협의하여 조속히 환경 개선 사업을 할 것”을 주문했다. 

이어서 송 의원은 교통과 관련된 핵심적인 문제점을 지적하였다.

먼저, 도안대로 왕복 4차선 임시 개통 계획과 관련하여 도안대로는 트램이 지나갈 것으로 확정된 도로인데 트램 운행로를 고려하지 않고 설계한 지금의 계획이 문제가 없는 것인지를 짚었다. 

그리고 이어서 장대삼거리 교차로의 고질적인 교통체증 문제를 지적하면서 이 문제를 해소하기 위하여 구암교에 있는 사거리의 직진 신호 시간을 연장하는 방안을 제안하였다. 

마지막으로 호남고속도로 지하화 공사와 관련하여서도 문제점을 지적하면서 공사 지점 인근 마을 진진입로 공사가 거의 마무리 된 시점인데 도로가 통제되어 있어 불편을 겪고 있는 시민들을 위하여 임시개통을 검토해 볼 것을 제안하는 등 다양한 주제로 활발한 행정사무감사를 실시했다.
