오는 20일부터 다음 달 15일까지 올해 마지막 정례회를 실시하는 대전 대덕구의회가 제9대 의회 출범 2년차를 맞은 집행부를 향해 송곳 검증을 예고했다. 

대덕구의회는 오는 20일 개회식을 시작으로 12월 15일까지 제272회 제2차 정례회를 열고 행정사무감사(행감)와 2024년 본예산 처리 등에 나선다.

이번 정례회에서 대덕구의회는 오는 27일부터 내달 1일까지 집행부에 대한 행정사무감사를 통해 행정사무 전반에 대한 점검에 나선다는 계획이다. 

특히 구의회는 출범 2년차를 맞아 본격적으로 추진된 공약·현안 사업을 자세히 살피고 문제점이나 개선 사항을 짚을 계획이다.

이어 내달 6일부터 14일까지 상임위원회·예산결산위원회 계수조정과 의결을 거쳐 2024년도 본예산을 심사한다. 

내년도 예산안 심사에서 대덕구의회는 정부의 긴축 재정 기조에 따라 ‘불요불급(不要不急·필요하지도 급하지도 않음)’ 여부에 주안점을 둘 예정이다.

또한 구의회는 내달 5일 구정질문에서 지역 현안에 대한 집행부의 대응 계획과 향후 구정 전략 등을 확인한다.

이와 함께 구의회는 의원별로 △의용소방대 지원 조례안(박효서 의원) △지속가능발전 기본 〃·대한적십자봉사회 활동 지원 〃(조대웅 의원) △거리문화공연 활성화 및 지원에 관한 〃(양영자 의원) △청소년 문화예술 활동 지원 〃·개인형 이동수단의 안전 및 이용 활성화 관련법 개정 촉구 건의안(유승연 의원) 등 안건을 발의·상정한다.

정례회를 앞둔 김홍태 의장은 “개원 당시 초심으로 돌아가 행정 추진 상황과 적정한 예산 편성인지 심도 있는 심사를 진행할 방침”이라면서 “내실 있는 구정운영이 될 수 있도록 견제와 감시의 끈을 놓지 않을 뿐 아니라 협력에도 적극 나서겠다”라고 강조했다.
