더불어민주당 공주·청양·부여 당협위원장 박수현 전 국회의원이 내년 4월 실시하는 국회의원 선거에 배수진을 치고 임하고 있다는 심경을 밝혔다.

19일 저녁 공주시내 한 음식점에서 언론인들과 가진 간담회에서 박 전 의원은 공직을 마치고 난 이후 근황에 대한 질문을 받고, 답변하는 과정에서 그동안 지역에서의 소소한 일상을 소개했다.

박 전 의원은 먼저 “(내년도 총선 출마는) 정치인생 마지막이라는 마음 가짐으로 임하려고 한다”는 말로 현재 심경을 대신했다.
