충남도가 도의회 국민의힘 의원들과 내년도 현안사업 추진에 힘을 합쳐 적극 대응해 나아가기로 하고, 19일 도의회에서 예산정책협의회를 열고, 도의회 국민의힘 의원들에게 내년도 본예산안의 원활한 의결 등 적극적인 지원을 요청했다.

이날 협의회는 전형식 정무부지사와 실·국·원·본부장, 이상근 도의회 국민의힘 원내대표, 홍성현 부의장, 국민의힘 소속 도의원 등 50여 명이 참석한 가운데, 안건 보고, 토론 등 순으로 진행됐다. 

충남도는 안건 보고를 통해 2024년 본예산안 편성 방향과 도정 주요 현안 등을 설명했다.

주요 현안은 △국립경찰병원 분원 예타 면제 △석탄발전 폐지지역 지원 특별법 제정 △국립치의학연구원 충남(천안) 설립 등이다. 

역점사업으로 추진 중인 스마트팜 복합단지 조성, 도립파크골프장 조성, 충남형 도시리브투게더 사업 등에 대해서는 도민이 가시적인 성과를 느낄 수 있도록 행정력을 집중하겠다고 약속했다.

전 부지사는 “민선 8기 출범 이후 도정 현안에 대한 도의회의 지속적인 관심과 지원에 감사하다”며 “그동안은 도정 비전을 설정하고 토대를 닦는 데 초점을 맞췄다면, 이제는 도민들에게 충남의 힘을 보여드려야 할 때”라고 말했다. 

한편, 충남도는 21일에는 더불어민주당 소속 도의원과 간담회를 개최하는 등 소통을 이어갈 계획이다.
