대전개인택시운송사업조합 공주향우회(이하 공주향우회, 회장 박병문)가 고향 공주사랑을 이어가고 있다.

공주향우회는 올해도 잊지않고 추석 명절을 앞두고 어려운 이웃을 위해 사용해 달라며 공주시에 성금 200만원을 전달했다.

박병문 회장을 비롯한 회원들은 지난 14일 공주시청을 방문해 생활이 어려운 고향 사람들이 이번 추석 명절을 따뜻하게 보냈으면 좋겠다며 회원들이 모은 성금 200만원을 최원철 시장에게 전달했다.

박병문 회장은 “추석 명절을 앞두고 고향의 어려운 이웃들을 위해 회원들이 십시일반 힘을 보탰다. 항상 고향을 사랑하는 마음으로 고향을 위해 도움이 되는 일에 적극 지원하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

한편, 대전개인택시 공주향우회는 대전시에 소재한 개인택시 운전기사 중 공주시가 고향인 운전자 165명이 정회원으로 가입된 모임이다.

택시에 공주시정 내용을 홍보하거나 광고를 부착해 얻은 수익금을 모아 공주시에 환원하는 등 4년째 고향 사랑을 실천하고 있다.

Daejeon Private Taxi Transportation Association Gongju Community Association (Chairman Park Byeong-moon) delivered 2 million won in donations to Gongju City, requesting that it be used for neighbors in need ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

Members, including Chairman Park Byeong-moon, visited Gongju City Hall on the 14th and delivered 2 million won in donations raised by members to Mayor Choi Won-cheol, saying they hoped people in their hometowns who are having difficulty making ends meet would have a warm Chuseok holiday.

Chairman Park Byeong-moon said, “Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, members gave their support to the needy neighbors in their hometowns. “I will always love my hometown and actively support work that helps it.”

Meanwhile, the Daejeon Private Taxi Gongju Community Association is a group in which 165 private taxi drivers in Daejeon whose hometown is Gongju are registered as regular members.

For the past four years, we have been practicing our love for our hometown by promoting Gongju City government content or attaching advertisements to taxis, collecting the profits and returning them to Gongju City.
