충남도가 재해위험지역 정비를 위해 694억 원의 예산을 투입한다.

해당 사업에 투입되는 예산 694억 원은 전액 국비로 충남도는 15일  2024년 행정안전부 소관 재해위험지역 정비사업과 관련해 올해 국비 539억 원 대비 28.8% 증액된 694억 원을 확보했다고 밝혔다.

충남도는 내년 신규 지구 21개와 계속·마무리 지구 54개 등 모두 75개 지구를 정비할 계획이며, 국비와 지방비를 포함해 총사업비 1388억 원을 투입한다.

재해위험지역 정비사업은 여름철 태풍·호우 등 반복적인 침수 피해가 예상되는 지역이나 급경사지, 저수지 등 붕괴위험이 있는 지역을 정비해 자연재해로부터 도민의 생명과 재산 피해를 최소화하고자 추진한다.

이번에 확보한 국비 694억 원은 분야별로 △풍수해 생활권 종합정비사업 7지구(228억 원) △재해위험개선지구 44지구(418억 원) △재해 위험저수지 14지구(31억 원) △급경사지 붕괴 위험 지역 10지구(17억 원)에 투입해 체계적으로 정비할 방침이다.
