대전서구의회 더불어민주당 의원들이 위탁선거법 위반으로 벌금 5백만 원을 선고 받은 서철모 대전 서구청장이 구민들께 진심으로 사과를 해야 한다고 강조했다.

민주당 의원들은 14일 오후 2시 대전시의회 기자실을 찾아 서 청장의 위탁선거법 위반에 대한 법원 판결과 관련해 입장문을 낭독하고 서 청장에 대한 법원의 판결이 결코 가볍지 않은 판결이라고 지적했다.
