대전시가 13일 2024년도 개발제한구역 주민지원사업 총사업비 75억 2천만 원 가운데 64억 7천만 원의 국비를 확보했다고 밝히면서 해당 사업이 탄력을 받을 것으로 전망된다.

개발제한구역 주민지원사업은 개발제한구역 지정으로 불편을 겪고 있는 주민들의 주거환경을 개선하고 복지를 증진하기 위해 2001년도부터 시행하고 있는 사업이다.

대전시는 이번 사업비를 도로 및 공원 등 기반시설을 정비하는 생활기반사업에 37억 6천만 원, 누리길과 여가녹지를 조성하는 환경문화사업에 35억 원, 노후주택 개량사업에 6천만 원, 생활공원 사업에 2억 원을 투입한다는 계획이다.

한편, 국토부는 사업추진에 대한 주민의 호응과 관심도가 높고, 농촌관광 활성화 및 농가 소득증대에 기여한 점을 높이 평가하여 대전시에 우수사례 2건을 선정하고 국비 10억 원을 추가 지원했다.
