충남도의회가 12일 제2기 입법평가위원회 위촉식을 갖고 본격적인 활동에 돌입했다.

제2기 위원은 도의원 5명과 교수 및 입법전문가 등 10명을 포함해 모두 15명이 위촉되었으며, 앞으로 3년 동안 입법평가 관련 주요사항을 심의하고 자치입법권의 제도적 개선방안 등을 자문한다. 

위촉식 이후 진행된 회의에서는 유성재 의원(천안5·국민의힘)이 위원장으로, 국책연구기관인 한국법제연구원 강현철 부원장이 부위원장으로 선출됐다. 

조길연 의장(부여2·국민의힘)은 인사말을 통해 “제1기 위원회는 충남형 입법평가제도의 도입과 안착에 기여했으며, 행정안전부 대상을 받는 성과가 있었다”며 “제2기 위원회 또한 충남 입법평가제도가 다음 단계로 발전할 수 있도록 많은 고견을 제안해줄 것을 기대하며, 이를 바탕으로 의회가 제도적으로 발전할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

유성재 신임 위원장은 “좋은 법의 정립과 유지를 목적으로 하는 충남형 입법평가제도가 우리 의회뿐만 아니라 입법기관 전체가 발전하는 초석이 되도록 위원들과 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
