대전시를 운행하고 있는 시내버스에 디지털 교통정보 시스템이 도입된다.

대전시는 오는 27일부터 현재 운행 중인 시내버스 200대에 실시간 교통정보 및 환승 정보 등을 제공하는‘디지털 대중교통 정보안내 시스템(D-TIS, Digital public Transportation Information System, 디지털 대중교통 정보안내 시스템)’을 도입한다고 밝혔다. 

대전시에 따르면‘디티스(D-TIS)’는 기존에 아날로그 방식으로 안내되던 시내버스 노선도를 디지털 방식으로 전환한 것으로, 승차문과 하차문 2곳에서 노선 정보와 도착 정류장의 환승 정보, 버스 혼잡도, 저상버스 정보를 실시간으로 제공한다. 

‘디티스(D-TIS)’는 대전 0시 축제 기간 중 차 없는 거리 운영에 따라 시내버스가 우회하는 28개 노선에 적용된 바 있다. 

우회 구간의 교통량 증가 정보제공과 이에 따른 실시간 시내버스 지연 운행 정보, 정류장별 시내버스 환승 정보가 제공돼 시민들의 불편함을 최소화했다는 평가를 받았다.

대전시는 향후‘디티스(D-TIS)’를 통해 대전시와 정부의 정책 홍보, 재해 및 재난 발생 정보도 안내할 계획이다. 이와 함께 지역에 거주하는 다문화 가정과 외국인 방문객을 위한 다국어 서비스도 제공한다.
