대전시의회 조원휘 의원(더불어민주당, 유성구 3)이 일본 후쿠시마 원전 오염수 방류에 대한 안전대책을 촉구했다.

조 의원은 6일 10시 제273회 임시회 제1차 본회의 5분자유발언에서 ‘일본의 원전오염수 방류에 대한 대전시의 안전대책’을 촉구하고, “일본 정부는 인근 국가 및 전세계 국가들의 반대와 우려에도 불구하고 지난 8월 24일부터 후쿠시마 원전오염수 해양 방류를 시작했다”며, 이는 일본 정부가 ‘런던협약’으로 알려진 ‘폐기물 기타 물질의 투기에 의한 해양 오염 방지협약’등 국제협약을 명백히 위반한 것이라고 발언을 시작했다.
