전) 대전광역시 정무부시장, 전) 국민의 힘 대전시당위원장을 지낸 국민의 힘 대전 서구(을) 당협위원장 양홍규 변호사의 저서  '더재판 리재판' 출판기념회가 9월 1일 오후 4시부터 많은 인파가 참석한 가운데 대전 서구 오페라웨딩에서 개최됐다.

이날 행사에는 이은권 대전시당위원장, 홍문표 충남도당위원장, 이명수 의원, 장동혁 의원, 윤창현 의원, 조수연 서구갑 위원장, 정상철 유서구을 위원장, 서철모 서구청장, 박성효 소상공인시장진흥공단 이사장, 서성동 민주사회연구소 이사장 등이 직접 축사에 나섰고, 이장우 대전시장, 김태흠 충남지사, 정진석 의원, 나경원 전의원 등은 영상 축사를 보내왔다.

저자인 양홍규 위원장은 '더재판 리재판' 자신의 저서를 소게하면서 “오늘 땀을 한 여름보다 많이 흘린 것 같다. 사인회 때 따뜻하게 잡아주신 손의 의미를 다시금 되새기겠다. 여러분들이 이판사판까지 이어질 수 있도록 성원해 주시면 뒷 이야기를 쉽게 읽을 수 있게 바꿔보겠다. 이 소설은 추리, 상상을 동원하지 않았다. 2000여 페이지의 기록을 300페이지로 축약한 것. 재판하면서 말도 안 되는 일을 겪기도 하는데, 제가 결국 7번의 재판을 통해 끝내 정의를 찾아냈다. 선택의 기로에 섰을 때 절대로 불의의 편에 서지 않았다. 앞으로도 그러지 않겠다는 말씀 드린다”는 말했다.

'더재판 리재판'은 2020년 1월 출간한 '다시희망 대한민국! 지방을 춤추게 하자!'에 이은 양 위원장의 두 번째 저서로, 소설의 형식을 띤 리얼 법정스토리이고, 추리와 상상을 배제한 생생한 실제 이야기라는 점에서 눈길을 끌고 있다.

축하 인사에 나선 이은권 국민의힘 대전시당위원장은 "이 말은 꼭 드리고 싶다. 정말 괜찮은 사람이다. 제가 쭉 같이 해보니 2% 부족한 게 있다. 저는 2.1%가 부족하다. 사람이 너무 좋다보니 남들한테 싫은 소리를 못한다. 그런 걸 보니까 정치를 하는 입장에선 아쉽다고 느낀다. 이 남은 2%를 여러분께서 채워주신다면 100%가 되지 않을까 싶다. 변호사로서도 대전에서는 따라올 사람이 없다"며 축하를 하고 "앞으로 더 많이 사랑해 주셔서 쑥쑥 자랄 수 있도록 해주시면 감사하겠다"는 말로 인사말를 대신했다.

해외 출장으로 이날 기념회에 참석하지 못한 이장우 대전시장은 축하 영상을  통해 "변호사부터 민선4기 정무부시장, 당협위원장까지 지역발전을 위해 열심히 달려 온 양홍규 위원장의 출판 기념회를 축하한다"고 축하 한다고 말하고, "그간 많이 노력햐 왔다고 생각한다. 실화를 바탕으로 한 소설이라 들었는데, 열정적으로 발전하는 양홍규 위원장이 대전을 위해 어떤 역할을 해줄지 앞으로가 더욱 기대된다"고 축하 영상을 보내왔다.

박성효 소상공인시장진흥공단 이사장은 "양 변호사와 저는 어떤 면에서는 동전의 양면이고, 빛과 그림자 같이 30년을 지내왔다. 우리의 관계는 어쩌면 수어지교의 관계일 수도 있겠다 싶은 마음이다. 이제 입장을 바꿔서 제가 양 변호사의 그림자 역할을 해야할 때가 아닌가 싶다. 세상에 이 이야기가 너무 늦게 나온 것이 아까울 정도다. 직업관, 전문지식, 정의감 이런 것을 모두 확인할 수 있는 법조계의 큰 사례다."는 말로 축하인시를 해줬다.

이 박에 이날 출판기념회에서는 윤창현 대전동구당협위원장과 조수연 대전서구갑당협위원장, 정상철 유성을당협위원장, 서철모 서구청장이 축하 인사말을 통해 출판기념회를 축하했다.

이날 양홍규 위원장은 변호사로서의 삶? 정치인으로서의 삶?에 대한 질문에 "나름대로 변호사로서의 삶이 있고, 정치인으로서의 삶이 있는데 보람있고 창의적인 것은 변호사가 기본이라 생각하며 저에게 활력을 주는 것은 정치가 훨씬 역동적이라는 말씀 드린다"고 말해 정치에 대한 변함없는 애정을 표했다.

양 위원장은 또 이번 저서가 "실제 사건이고, 일곱 번째의 재판도 실제였다"고 강조하고,  변호사 생활 중 기억에 남는 것에 대한 질문에는 "이 사건이 가장 기억에 남고. 다음 번엔 토지 변천 역사 등을 다룰 수 있는 이야기를 준비 중에 있다"고 말해 후속작을 준비중에 있음을 내배쳤다.
