충남도가 정부예산 10조 원 시대 개막을 바라보고 있다고 전했다.

충남도는 내년 미래 지속가능한 충남 발전을 위한 새로운 성장동력 산업 추진 발판을 놓고, 충남의 하늘길을 열기 위한 첫 발걸음을 뗀다.

전형식 충남도 정무부지사는 29일 도청 프레스센터에서 기자회견을 열고 “다음 달 2일 국회에 제출되는 2024년 정부예산안에 충남 현안 사업 관련 국비 9조 8243억 원을 담아냈다”고 밝혔다.

이번 확보액은 2023년 정부예산안 8조 6553억 원보다 1조 1690억 원(13.5%) 많고, 국회에서 최종 확정한 9조 589억 원에 비해서는 7654억 원(8.4%) 많은 규모다.

전 부지사는 “도 지휘부와 각 실국이 정부예산 확보를 위해 전방위 활동을 편 결과 목표치(10조 원)에 근접하는 예산을 우선 확보할 수 있었다”라고 말했다.

주요 신규 사업은 △국방 로봇 체계 시험 시설 건립 △바이오메스 비건레더 개발·클러스터 △탄소중립 바이오가스 녹색융합 클러스터 △서산공항 건설 등이다.

국방 로봇 체계 시험 시설은 3군본부가 인접하고, 국방대 등 군 관련 기관이 집적한 논산에 구축한다는 계획으로, 설계비 5억 원을 반영시켰다.
