충남 아산시가 장애인 전동보장구(전동휠체어, 전동스쿠터)를 이용하는 관내 등록장애인을 대상으로 ‘전동보장구 배상책임보험’을 지원한다고 밝혔다.

전동보장구 배상책임보험 보장내용은 본인부담금 5만 원을 부담하면 전동보장구 운행 중에 발생한 제삼자에 대한 대인·대물 배상책임에 대해 사고당 최대 2천만 원까지 지원받을 수 있다. 

보장 기간은 2023년 8월 10일부터 2024년 8월 9일까지이며, 아산시에 주민등록을 둔 전동보장구 이용 등록장애인이면 별도 가입 절차 없이 자동으로 가입된다. 또한 다른 지자체에서 아산시로 전입 시는 자동 가입, 전출 시는 자동 해지된다.
