대전시교육청이 고교 교사가 개발한 ‘2023학년도 고등학교 수학 창의적 문항 학습자료집’을 대전지역 모든 고등학교에 배포했다고 밝혔다.

수학 창의적 문항 학습자료집은 대전지역 28명의 고등학교 수학 교사들이 연구를 통해 문항을 직접 제작했다.

학습자료집은 학생들에게 올바른 수학 개념을 정립하고, 수학적 문제해결력을 향상시킴으로써 2024학년도 대학수학능력시험을 대비하고, 교실 수업에 도움을 주기 위해 개발했다는 게 대전시교육청의 설명이다.

대전시교육청에서는 학생들에게 수학적 사고력을 자극할 수 있는 참신한 문제를 제작, 학교에 보급하는 것이 필요하다고 판단하여 2014년부터 고교 수학 창의적 문항을 개발․보급하고 있다. 

자료집은 고등학교 교육과정에 기반한 창의적인 수학 문제로 매회 수능 과목 6문항으로 개발되었으며, 각각 17회분의 미니 모의평가 형태로 수업 시간에 활용할 수 있도록 구성되어 있다. 

또한, 문제에 대한 자세한 해설지를 함께 제공하며, 개념이해, 추론, 문제해결 등의 행동 영역에서 정선된 문항으로 엄선하여 제작했고, 대학수학능력시험을 앞둔 2학기 고3 수업에 바로 활용할 수 있는 문제를 개발하기 위해, 지난 6월 10일과 7월 1일 대전수학문화관에서 워크숍을 개최하는 등 제작 과정 전반에 심혈을 기울여 왔다.

대전시교육청 관계자는 “교육현장에서 직접 학생들을 담당하고 있는 현직 고등학교 수학교사가 제작해, 학생과 교사에게 현장감 있고 실질적인 도움이 되는 우수 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다.
