충남 천안시 택시요금이 4년여 만에 인상된다.

그동안 차량유지비와 유류비, 최저임금 등의 상승으로 인한 택시요금 현실화 필요성이 지속해서 제기됨에 따라 2019년 6월 1일 조정 이후 4년 3개월 만에 택시요금이 인상됐다. 

인상률은 1회 평균 운행거리 4.4km 기준으로 25.8%가 인상된다.

중형택시 기준으로 기본요금은 3300원에서 4000원으로 700원이 인상되고, 기본거리는 2km에서 1.4km로 0.6km 단축된다. 

운행 거리요금은 115m당 100원씩 오르던 것이 110m당 100원으로 5m 단축되며, 시간 요금은 현행 30초당 100원을 유지한다.

심야할증은 기존 24시에서 다음 날 새벽 4시까지 20%의 할증요율을 적용하던 것을 밤 10시부터 다음 날 새벽 4시까지로 2시간 앞당기고, 요율은 10% 인상해 30%를 적용한다. 시계 외 할증은 현행 20%에서 12% 인상된 32%로 조정한다.

천안시는 충청남도 택시 운임‧요율 조정 시행계획에 따라 지난 16일 시 소비자정책심의위원회에서 요금 인상안을 확정하고 오는 9월 1일부터 조정된 요금을 적용하기로 했다고 밝혔다.
