세종시가 기관·단체·대학교 등 12곳이 참여하는 국제협력사업 협업 추진을 위해 힘을 모은다. 

이를 위해 세종시는 17일 시청에서 중앙부처, 국책연구기관, 경찰청, 교육청, 학교, 국제기구 등 세종시 유관기관과 ‘2023년 하반기 세종시 국제협력사업 실무협의회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 회의는 참석기관의 공통관심사항인 외빈을 대상으로 한 세종시 방문 프로그램 공동개발 협력방안과 기념품 공동 제작방안 등을 논의하고, 기관별 국제협력사업 현안을 공유하고자 마련됐다. 

이 날 회의를 주재한 이호식 국제관계대사는 “앞으로도 각 기관별 국제협력사업을 세종시가 뒷받침하겠다”라며 “기관별 국제협력 프로그램 다양화하기 위해서 세종시의 국제협력 사업에도 많은 협조를 바란다”라고 말했다.

세종시는 지난 5월 중앙부처, 국책연구기관 등 공공기관 10곳과 국제협력사업 체계 구축을 위한 첫 회의(킥오프 회의)를 갖고, 상·하반기 각 1회씩 국제협력 실무협의회를 개최하기로 뜻을 모은 바 있다.

한편 이날 회의에는 세종시와 인사혁신처 ,세종경찰청 ,세종시교육청 ,경제인문사회연구회 ,국토연구원 ,한국조세재정연구원 ,한국개발연구원(KDI) 국제정책대학원 ,세종국제고 ,유네스코 세계유산국제해석설명센터 ,한국영상대학교(국제교육원) ,고려대학교 세종캠퍼스가 참여했다.

Sejong City will join forces to promote cooperation in international cooperation projects in which 12 institutions, organizations, and universities participate.
