충남 천안시가 오는 18일까지 하반기 ‘천안형 청년인턴제’참가자를 모집한다고 밝혔다.

올해 신규 시범사업으로 추진하고 있는‘청년인턴제’를 상반기에 성공리에 마무리한 ‘청년인턴제’는 천안청년센터 이음을 통해 운영되고 있다.

‘천안형 청년인턴’은 미취업 청년들이 3개월간 시 소재 중소·중견 기업에 근무하며 관심 직무를 체험하고 경력을 형성해 정규직 채용 등 지역에 정착할 수 있도록 지원하는 사업으로 참여기업은 최대 2명의 청년을 고용할 수 있으며, 3개월간 천안시로부터 인건비를 지원받는다.

상반기에는 엔켐 외 8개의 관내 기업에 20명의 미취업 청년(외국인 유학생 4명 포함)이 참여했으며, 3개월 근무를 마친 후 10명의 청년이 정규직으로 채용되는 성과를 거두었다.

천안시는 하반기에 진행되는 청년인턴제는 시 소재 17개의 우수 중소기업이 참여하고, 지역 내 12개 대학교의 졸업예정자를 포함한 27명의 참가자를 오는 18일까지 모집해 운영할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
