박경귀 아산시장이 3일 국토교통부의 철근 누락 한국토지주택공사(LH)아파트 명단에 포함된 탕정지구 행복주택을 찾아 “주민들의 불안 해소에 최선을 다해달라”고 촉구했다.

이날 김태흠 충남지사와 탕정지구 2-A14블록 행복주택(배방읍 세교리 1599번지, 1139세대)을 방문한 갑경귀 시장은 LH 관계자로부터 아파트 현황 및 철근 누락 발표 후 대처 상황에 대해 보고받는 자리에서 이같이 촉구했다.

앞서 지난달 31일 국토부는 무량판 구조 지하주차장을 조성한 LH 발주 아파트 91개 단지를 전수조사한 결과, 15개 단지에서 전단철근이 누락됐다고 발표했다. 

박 시장이 방문한 탕정지구 행복주택 역시 국토부 명단에 포함됐으며, 철근 누락 여부는 조사 중이다. 

무량판 구조란 수평 기둥(보) 없이 기둥이 직접 콘크리트 천장(슬래브)를 지탱하는 구조로, 지난 4월 이 구조로 건설된 인천 검단 LH아파트에서 지하주차장 붕괴 사고가 발생하면서 사회적 이슈로 떠올랐다.

이 자리에서 박 시장은 “철저한 조사와 완전한 보강 조치를 시행해달라”며 빈틈없는 조치를 당부했다.

LH 관계자는 “현재 탕정지구 행복주택의 철근 누락 여부를 정밀 점검하고 있다”며 “오는 9일까지 점검을 마치고, 점검 결과에 따라 필요시 9월 말까지 보강 조치를 마무리할 예정”이라고 설명했다. 

한편, 아산지역에서 무량판 구조 건축물은 공동주택 9곳, 오피스텔과 주상복합 각각 1곳씩 총 11개 단지로 확인됐다.

아산시는 무량판구조 민간아파트에 대한 구조도면, 검측보고서 및 감리확인서 검토 등 전단보강근 누락 실태를 파악한 뒤 문제점이 발견되면 현장 조치에 나설 예정이다.
