교육부 국립국제교육원에서 주관하는“2023년도 교원해외파견사업 단기해외교육봉사 운영 대학”에 국립공주대학교가 선정됐다고 22일 밝혔다.

국립국제교육원은 국제화 역량을 갖춘 교원양성과 공적개발원조(ODA) 국가에 대한 교육원조를 목적으로 단기해외교육봉사 사업을 시행하고 있다.

2023학년도 하계 파견대학으로는 유일하게 공주대가 선정됐다.

공주대는 과거 두 차례 단기 해외교육봉사 사업에 선정되어 파견사업을 진행했으며, 이번 해외 교육봉사단은 4주간의 사전교육을 거쳐 2023년 7월 23일부터 8월 19일까지 키르기스스탄 비슈케크지역 초·중등학교에 사범대학 예비교사 15명을 파견해 각 전공 맞춤형 교과교육(컴퓨터. 영어, 수학, 과학, 예·체능) 및 한국어, 한국문화 체험 활동(K-pop, 사물놀이 등)을 교육할 예정이라고 밝혔다.
